GECAS has ordered 10 aircraft 737-800 Boeing Converted Freighters
On the first day of the Paris Air Show, GECAS ordered 10 737-800BCF aircraft. There is also an agreement for 15 optional aircraft.
The 737-800BCF, which debuts at the Paris Air Show 2019, is Boeing's newest cargo aircraft. The 737-800BCF is capable of transporting up to 23,9 tonnes (52,800 lb) over a maximum distance of 3.750 km.
737-800 Boeing Converted Freighters
Since launching the 737-800BCF program, in 2016, GECAS has placed firm orders and options for 65 aircraft.
The new 737-800 Boeing Converted Freighters comes equipped with state-of-the-art technology. It benefits from low fuel consumption and has a higher reliability than standard cargo aircraft.
To date, Boeing has delivered 14 737-800BCF aircraft. The first 737-800BCF arrived in the yard of West Atlantic AB through GECAS.
