Air France Group - KLM announced 4.5% revenue growth in T2, reaching 6,5 billion. In the first half of the year, the company's revenues increased by 5,2% compared to the corresponding period in 2011, reaching 12,1 billion.

But the group is not over yet. Losses were reduced to 66 million, compared to 145 million in the corresponding period of last year. In order to guarantee the survival of the group, the restructuring plan up to 2015 will be completed.

In June, Air France has announced that it will lay off over 5000 employees to 2013. Air France estimates the reduction of 1.710 positions during this period as a result of voluntary retirements and departures, without the intervention of the employer, while 3.412 positions represent excess personnel.

The increase in fuel gives the airlines big headaches, to which is added the effect of the economic crisis.
