As part of its fleet renewal strategy, Gulf Air has announced a firm order for 29 family aircraft Airbus A320neo. This includes 17 x A321neo and 12 A320neo. The contract was signed at Bahrain International Airshow.
At the moment, Gulf Air operates 28 from Airbus aircraft. The new aircraft will be perfectly integrated into the current fleet of the air carrier in Bahrain, following its uniformization. A320neo aircraft offer increased passenger comfort, reduced operating costs and ensure low fuel consumption by up to 15% (20% to 2020).
