GullivAir operated first flight with new ATR 72-600 aircraft (LZ-DAH)

On April 29, 2021, the Bulgarian airline GullivAir operated the first flight with the new aircraft ATR 72-600 (LZ-DAH). It was the demonstration flight, indicative GBG501, on the route Sofia-Burgas. It was carried out before the Civil Aviation Administration for the approval and approval of this type of aircraft in the operational service.

GullivAir has 3 72-600 model airplanes, the other two having the codes LZ-DAJ and LZ-DAI. They were delivered between February and April and will enter operational service shortly, being scheduled for short and regional flights.

GullivAir is an airline specializing in charters, which also owns an Airbus A330-200. In recent months, GullivAir has operated numerous charter flights departing from Bucharest to exotic holiday destinations and we mention here the Maldives and Punta Cana.

The new ATR 72-600 aircraft will fly to holiday destinations in Turkey, mainland Greece and the Greek islands. It is not excluded to see one of the 72-600 GullivAir planes on the route Sofia - Bucharest. GullivAir has not yet announced the full operational schedule for the 2021 summer season.
