Henri Coanda International Airport has been certified in the ACI Europe Airport Carbon Accreditation program

Bucharest National Airports Company (CNAB) obtained certification in the program ACI Europe Airport Carbon Accreditation for Henri Coandă Bucharest International Airport (AIHCB), following a specialized audit, carried out by international experts in the field.

AIHCB is the first airport in Romania to receive this certification, at the first level - "Mapping", also ranking among the first 90 of airports in the world that meet the international criteria to be accredited in the field of analysis and reduction of carbon emissions.

Airport Carbon Accreditation is one of the most important programs of ACI Europe, being managed by an independent structure, whose members are representatives of the European Commission, the UN Environment Program, the International Civil Aviation Organization, the European Civil Aviation Conference, the European Air Navigation Safety Organization.
