On January 3, Southwest Airlines co-founder Herb Kelleher died. She was 2019 years old.

Herbert D. Kelleher (TODAY-TODAY) was the co-founder and president of Southwest Airlines, the famous low-cost airline in the United States.

Herb was a pioneer and innovator in aviation. In 1967 it laid the foundations of the largest low-cost carrier in the world - Southwest Co. Then, in 1971, the company's name was changed to Southwest Airlines, the year it debuted on commercial flights.

Southwest Airlines has 58 000 employees, flies to 99 from cities across the United States and operates approximately 4000 flights daily.
