Historical moment for KLM: over 30 millions of passengers transported

On 23 December 2016, KLM celebrated a historic moment. The Dutch carrier has reached the threshold of 30 millions of passengers carried in a year, an increase of 7% compared to 2015.

The happy passenger with the number 30 million was Mrs. Kojima. She flew on the London - Tokyo route via Amsterdam for the Christmas holidays. As a reward, he received 2 plane tickets to one of the 149 destinations in the KLM network.

Historical moment for KLM

For the first time in 97 years of flights, KLM has exceeded the 30 threshold of millions of passengers carried in a year. This increase is due to the new 14 routes opened in 2016, as well as the optimization of flights on existing routes.

At the moment, KLM operates 2 daily flights on Bucharest - Amsterdam route, and the tariffs start from 138 EURO (return flights). In the 2017 summer season, KLM will operate 3 daily flights from / to Bucharest.
