HOP! received the first ATR 72-600

On 10 April HOP! Air France received the first ATR 72-600. At a ceremony held at Orly Airport, Paris, it was welcomed by Alexandre de Juniac, President and CEO of Air France-KLM, Frédéric Gagey, President and CEO of Air France and Lionel Guérin, Chief Operating Officer of HOP! Air France.

Between April and October 2015, HOP! has to receive 5 ATR 72-600 aircraft. All are configured to carry up to 70 passengers. Gradually, they will replace the current 72-500 aircraft.

Compared to similar jet aircraft, the ATR 72-600 consumes up to 50% less fuel and generates up to 50% less CO2 emissions. In addition to engine performance, the new ATR 72-600 provides increased passenger comfort and more hold space.

The first 72-600 HOP! Air France will fly on routes served from Orly airport, in particular to Quimper and Lorient.

• 2 main hubs in France: Lyon (27 routes) and Paris-Orly (20 routes)
• More than 8500 of employees in passenger, ground and air services
