To the attention of those traveling during this period from Romania to the Kingdom of the Netherlands (Netherlands)
The other day I told you that The Netherlands introduces free testing at airports and strongly recommends self-isolation for those traveling from risk areas.
As an additional measure, the Dutch authorities have announced the collection of contact details of people coming from risk areas. Also the Dutch authorities will carry out checks to verify compliance with the self-isolation measure.
The Embassy of Romania in the Kingdom of the Netherlands makes the following clarifications: The Dutch government has announced that it will introduce the mandatory home quarantine measure for all those arriving from high-risk areas (code red or orange, including Romania).
It will also become mandatory to cooperate with the Dutch authorities regarding the registration of contact details upon entry into Dutch territory for the traceability of contacts with people infected with COVID-19.
Currently, this measure is not yet implemented, but it can be implemented at any time. Travel informed and responsible!
In this context, we strongly recommend a regular consultation of the Dutch government's website, Nieuws section.
