In S2020, Air Canada Rouge gives up flights to Bucharest
Air Canada and Air Canada Rouge are affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Like many hundreds of other airlines, they have suspended operations, reduced the number of flights on others, and have retained much of the fleet on the ground.
As travel restrictions are still active in most countries, Air Canada and Air Canada Rouge have adjusted their operational programs for the summer 2020 season.
According routesonline.com, there were important changes in the operational program established until June 23. As of June 24, there are no major changes, but there are canceled routes for the entire summer of this year.
Including the routes Montreal - Bucharest and Toronto - Bucharest appear to be canceled in the summer season 2020. And so as not to feel discriminated against, Air Canada / Air Canada Rouge also suspended a series of flights to Budapest, Venice, Paris, Zagreb, Warsaw, Prague, Porto, Milan Malpensa, Manchester, Berlin Tegel, Glasgow, Marseille.
Let's hope it's just a suspension this season. We wait like the routes Montreal - Bucharest and Toronto - Bucharest to reappear in the Air Canada Rouge operational program for the 2021 summer season.
