The inaugural Airbus A380 flight for Thai Airways

Thai Airways (Thailand) is preparing to enter the world of aircraft operating companies Airbus A380. The first aircraft, dedicated to these airlines, had the inaugural flight on 5 in March, taking off from the Airbus base in Toulouse (France) to Germany.

The flight took about 4 hours and landed in Hamburg, where the aircraft will receive the interior and be painted in Thai Airways colors. The A380 will be configured with 12 seats at First, 60 at Business and 435 at Economy.

Delivery is scheduled for the third quarter of this year. Thai Airways will become 9 with Airbus A380 in the fleet, after Singapore Airlines, Emirates, Qantas, Air France, Lufthansa, Korean Air and China Southern. The Thai company has ordered 6 A380 aircraft to use on routes between Bangkok and Europe.
