Delta Air Lines and Atlanta inaugurated, on 16 May 2012, the new Maynard H. Jackson Jr. International Terminal at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Airport. It cost $ 1.4 billion and was built in about 4 years.
The terminal was inaugurated with the departure of the Delta Air Lines 295 flight to Tokyo Narita and the arrival of aircraft on the DL177 flight from Dublin, Ireland. Terminal F comes with 12 gates (F1-F10, F12, F14) ready to receive two-color Widebody aircraft. The new terminal has 64 self-check and 80 ticket counters.
Maynard H. Jackson Jr. International Terminal also includes Delta Sky Club, a space for approximately 300 people and includes 8 showers. The lounge also has a luxury bar.
