High processing capacity with 50% at Henri Coandă Airport

"Starting this week, the processing capacity of passengers at the border checkpoints has increased by almost 50% on the outbound flow of the country. The waiting time of the passengers for the control of the documents has decreased substantially, at present it is of 2-5 minutes ”, said the General Manager of the National Company Bucharest Airports, Bogdan Mîndrescu.

Several Border Police stations

Currently, after the reorganization of the passport control area, passengers have at their disposal on the 13 departures checkpoint of the Border Police, with 26 of checkpoints. The measure taken by the management of the National Company Bucharest Airports received full support from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which ensured the coverage of all control posts at the airport with Border Police officers.

The new counters have been operating in the testing program since 24 August, and from this week they have come into operation at full capacity.

"We will continue our efforts to optimize our services and analyze the possibilities of extending the processing capabilities, so that the transit of passengers through Henri Coandă Airport is as fast and as comfortable as possible.

Recall that, as of last week, and the processing capacity of passengers upon entering the country has been expanded with 2 counters, respectively 4 control stations, dedicated to charter flights.
