INFO: Transport from the airport to the home with the help of relatives / friends during COVID-19
We are experiencing heavy times during the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19). To limit the spread of the virus, the authorities imposed travel restrictions, suspended most flights and forced citizens to remain isolated in their own homes (with minor exceptions - shopping for daily living, pharmacy, medical emergencies, work).
Transportation from the airport to the home
But what if we got someone from the airport? To the surprise of many, there are still flights between the UK and Romania, mainly from London to Bucharest. Bucharest Airports requested a response from the Strategic Communication Group.
Question: If I have a friend who comes by plane from another country can I take him from the airport?
Answer: If the person does not have to move from the airport to the place of residence or place of residence, then the move is allowed. The declaration is filled out on its own responsibility, having the motive to help people.
It should be borne in mind that citizens who arrive from red areas, enter the institutionalized quarantine. So these CANNOT BE TAKEN from the airport by relatives, relatives or friends.
And those who come from the yellow areas are in self-isolation. This implies that the person, who comes in contact with the arriving passengers, MUST follow the same self-isolation procedure. In other words, you go and get the person (s) from the airport, but then you isolate yourself for 14 days.
We will continue to come up with such useful information!
