Innovation in aviation! Airbus AlbatrossONE, which has flexible wing tips, operated a new test flight

And with the flight operated by the Airbus AlbatrossONE prototype, we were able to better understand the innovation. Airbus engineers are studying how the famous seabird - Albatros - moves. It can fly very long distances without much effort.

The key lies in the flexible wings, more precisely in the tips of the wings. This latest test campaign demonstrates that the tips of semi-aeroelastic wings are able to react and flex in gusts of wind, decreasing in-flight resistance and increasing aircraft performance.
