Italy has extended the period of application of the restrictive measures on entry into the country until 5 March 2021

On 16 January, the Italian authorities decided that the new restrictive measures to combat the spread of SARS-CoV-2 virus infection in Italy should be applicable from 16 January to 5 March 2021. Those wishing to travel from Romania to Italy must take into account the following rules.

Persons who have been or transited the territory of Romania in the last 14 days prior to arrival in Italy, have the obligation to present to the carrier at the time of embarkation or to any person designated to perform checks, a certificate confirming the performance, within 48 hours prior to the entry into Italian territory of a buffer-type molecular diagnostic or antigen capture test with a negative result for SARS-CoV-2 infection. In case of failure to present the aforementioned test, self-isolation is required for 14 days.

If the stay / transit in the countries / territories on list C was carried out for reasons of necessity, there is an obligation to present a negative test for SARS-CoV-2 virus infection, carried out within 48 hours prior to entry into Italy.

Any person arriving in Italy is required to submit to the Italian carrier or authorities authorized to carry out checks a declaration on his own responsibility, in accordance with the model available. here!
