Jenson Button, the former Formula 1 champion, was in the British Airways simulator at London Heathrow! For 90 minutes he was able to practice landings, takeoffs and flights with the Airbus A380, the only passenger plane with 2 complete decks.

At the age of 37, Jenson Button was first in a flight simulator. He operated 3 landings at Hong Kong International Airport and took command of Airbus A380. This model together with the Boeing 787 Dreamliner forms the core of the British Airways fleet.
Jenson said: “It was so cool! I've flown all over the world but this is the first time I've experienced what it's like to be at the controls and it was a pretty incredible feeling.
“It's like you're in a real aircraft and after a while you forget it isn't the real thing. I think I did pretty well for a first timer - though if there had been passengers in the back we might have had a few complaints about my first landing. Let's just say it was a bit bumpy. ”
