From June 3, 2014, Kenya Airways will fly with Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner on the route Nairobi - Paris-CDG. Four weekly flights will be operated according to the following schedule:
Nairobi 22:45 - 06:20 + 1 Paris - Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday
Paris 10:55 - 20:25 Nairobi - Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday
On 4 April 2014, Kenya Airways has acquired the first Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner (christened "Great Rift Valley"). This is the first of the 9 ordered, Kenya Airways will receive 5 units by the end of the year. It's all part of a modernization and expansion plan called the "Mawingu Project." Kenya Airways has configured the Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft in 2 classes: 30 seats in Business and 204 seats in Economy.
The Kenya Airways fleet currently has 46 aircraft (1 x Boeing 787, 2 x Boeing 777-300ER, 4 x 777-200ER, 6 x 767-300ER, 15 x Boeing 737, 17 and 170 -190F).
