KLM and Delta Air Lines will operate quarantine-free flights between Atlanta and Amsterdam. See the procedure!

From December 15, KLM and Delta Air Lines will operate quarantine-free flights between Atlanta and Amsterdam. Passengers will be tested by COVID-19.

Delta Air Lines and KLM will work with Schiphol International Airport of Amsterdam, the Netherlands Government and with Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport for passengers tested by COVID-19 and eligible for flights to avoid quarantine.

There will be 4 weekly flights included in this pilot program, Delta and KLM operating two rotations each. Currently, KLM operates a daily flight to Atlanta (KL623), while Delta has 2 daily flights to Amsterdam (DL72 and DL74).

We remind you that Delta Air Lines has entered into a similar partnership with Aeroporti di Roma for flights operated between Atlanta and Rome on 19 December.

Only passengers with negative results will be able to travel.

Passengers wishing to travel from the USA to the Netherlands will have to take a PCR test 5 days before departure and self-isolate until the day of the trip.

They will also have to do a quick antigen test before takeoff (at Atlanta airport), but also a PCR test at the Schiphol International Airport (AMS) landing.

If all tests are negative, travelers are exempt from the mandatory quarantine on arrival in the Netherlands. This procedure is only valid for citizens traveling for essential reasons (work, health or education).

You must take into account the restrictions imposed in the cities / countries of destination if you are only in transit at Amsterdam airport.
