Korean Air has ordered two Boeing 777-300ER

Korean Air and Boeing completed the order for two aircraft 777-300ER (Extended Range). The order is valued at 596 million dollars, list price.

The Korean air carrier is expanding its fleet to deal with the growing passenger traffic in Asia. Plus it wants to position itself as a premium company through the acquisition of new aircraft.

Korean Air is currently operating 34 of 777 aircraft, of which 10 are Boeing 777-300ER. Boeing 777-300ER can carry up to 365 passengers and has a range of up to 14,685 km. Korean Air is the first airline in the world to take possession of the first 747-8 and 777 Freighters cargo aircraft.
