Lion Air placed the largest order in Boeing's history

Lion Air, the Jakarta - Indonesia airline, placed the largest order in the history of Boeing. The company has big plans for the future and has ordered 230 aircraft: 201 from the 737 MAX and 29 737-900ER aircraft. If all goes according to plan, the agreement also provides for the purchase of an additional 150 aircraft.

If calculated at the list price, the order of the 230 aircraft is worth $ 22.4 billion, being the highest order in number of units and value in Boeing history.

According to the latest figures, Lion Air currently has a fleet of 75 of operational aircraft and over 350 ordered. Operates to 60 destinations.
