Update 8 February 2021: We have updated the list of European countries without restrictions applied for Romania. Unfortunately, this list is getting shorter and it will soon run out of countries. During this time, it is a good idea not to venture into non-essential trips through Europe.
Update December 28, 2020: The COVID-19 pandemic is dynamic in Europe and around the world. Some countries impose travel restrictions, others lift restrictions. If you are eager to travel, it is good to know which countries are open for those traveling from Romania, without obligations to take a shower. On return, depending on Romania's yellow list, quarantine / isolation may be required.

Albania
Romanian citizens can travel between Albania and Romania, by land, transiting Northern Macedonia, Serbia and Bulgaria. Access to all foreign nationals is again allowed throughout the Republic of Albania.

Republica Moldova
Romania NU it is also classified as a red zone, being placed in the green zone. It is allowed to enter the territory of the Republic of Moldova through the state border crossing points, of foreign citizens and stateless persons coming from the states classified as green area.
Persons crossing the state border on their way into the Republic of Moldova and coming from states classified as green area they will not complete the Epidemiological File and will not be obliged to observe the 14-day self-isolation regime. If the starting point is located in a state classified as a green area, and during the journey a state classified as a red zone has been transited, including airport transit, then the person is considered to be arriving from the red zone, he must complete the form epidemiological and is required to comply with the 14-day self-isolation regime.

However, it is not excluded that these states will change the status for Romania and that travel restrictions will appear depending on the evolution of the COVID-19 pandemic. Romania may apply certain restrictions to those traveling from these states.
