Suceava - London Luton with Wizz Air, daily flights from May 20, 2018

Wizz Air today announces a massive expansion at its London Luton base. It will add four more Airbus A320 aircraft by June 2018.

Until June 2018, Wizz Air will have 5 aircraft Airbus A320 the basic London Luton, all with 186 seats. The investment is estimated at about 500 million dollars (the estimated price of an A320).

In the last twelve months (up to October 31 2017), WIZZ has carried over 5,5 millions of passengers on its London Luton routes. There was an increase of 11% compared to 2016, thus becoming the second largest carrier at Luton airport.

Wizz Air expands its capacity in Luton by 15% each year and will offer 2018 more than 6,9 millions of seats on 46 routes to 20 countries.

As a result of this significant expansion, WIZZ also announces 5 new routes: Larnaca in Cyprus (NEVER 30), Bratislava in Slovakia (20 June 2018), Tallinn in Estonia (17 September 2018), Tirana in Albania (31 more 2018) and Lviv in Ukraine (September 18, 2018). Tickets for the new routes are already on sale and can be booked from just £26,99 on wizzair.com.

At the same time, the additional aircraft will allow the air carrier to increase the frequency of flights on three of its most popular routes. Starting with the spring of 2018, flights to Tel Aviv (25 March 2018) and Suceava (20 May 2018) become daily; and flights from Pristina (25 March 2018) will increase from two to three times a week.
