Customers in the Club World (business) cabin can choose from the 44 seats on the main deck or the 53 seats on the upper deck. The seats on the upper deck will have a new 2: 3: 2 configuration throughout the cabin.

The 55 seats in the World Traveler Plus cabin (economy upper) will be on the upper deck, while customers in the World Traveler class (economy) can choose seats on both the main and upper deck. Customers traveling to the World Traveler and World Traveler Plus classes will be able to enjoy the new cabs and seats that are so popular on the British Airways 777-300ER fleet.

Due to its innovative design, the aircraft is much quieter at take-off and landing and has a fuel consumption of 16% lower than a Boeing 747. British Airways has ordered 12 A380 aircraft to be delivered to 2016. Three of them will arrive this year, followed by another five in 2014.
