Today. Ryanair announced at a conference that it intends to launch flights to Castellon, specifically routes London Stansted - Castellon and Bristol - Castellon. That confirms that Ryanair becomes the first airline to fly to the "ghost" Costa Azahar airport in Castellón.
Route London Stansted - Castellon will be inaugurated on 15 September 2015 and weekly 3 flights will be operated. Route Bristol - Castellon will be inaugurated on 16 September 2016 and weekly 2 flights will be operated.
Between 12 and 16 March 2015, Ryanair promised promotional fares from 31.99 EURO for flights to Castellon. The journey must take place between 15 September and 10 December 2015. The Irish operator hopes to carry up to 60 passengers to and from Castellon.
