LOT Polish Airlines adds three new flights to Greece in this summer's flight schedule, offering new connections to Thessaloniki, Heraklion and Rhodes in Poland, the Greek Ministry of Tourism said on Friday. The announcement comes as a result of an agreement between Greek Tourism Minister Harry Theoharis and LOT representatives that the carrier wants to extend its flight schedule to Greece for the 2021 summer season.

The Warsaw airline, which is a member of the Star Alliance, will connect Poznan with Thessaloniki, Katowice with Heraklion (Crete), and Gdansk with Rhodes this summer. "These are the routes that will be added to the extended LOT program for Greece, which is much better than in 2019", said Theoharis, stressing that the agreement with the airline will help increase the number of tourists who will visit Greece this summer.
