The Lufthansa Group was interested in taking over 81 from aircraft and about 3000 from employees (flight attendants, pilots, technicians) for 210 million EUR. Following that by the end of 2017, the Niki brand will disappear. The whole transaction needs the consent of the European Commission.
European Competition Commissioner Margrethe Vestager told Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung that Lufthansa (LH, Frankfurt) will have to transfer certain routes and / or slots to other airlines in order to obtain approval from the European Commission. Some routes already have a very large market share or even a monopoly. Lufthansa is expected to apply for EC approval in November.

As I have mentioned on other occasions, easyJet wants to start work in Berlin-Tegel and on 3 internal routes: Tegel - Dusseldorf, Tegel - Stuttgart and Tegel - Munich.
The transaction, which was announced on 30 in October, is subject to regulatory approvals and may be completed in December 2017. According to statements made by easyJet officials, easyJet will get a market share in Berlin of about 60%. easyJet will operate a reduced program from Berlin-Tegel in the winter season, but intends to operate a full program from the 2018 summer season.
Condor is only interested in about 10 aircraft, according to a report by Berliner Zeitung. These aircraft could be transferred to Thomas Cook Airlines Balearics (Palma Son Sant Joan).
