Re-evaluating the situation, Lufthansa Group extends the period of suspension of flights to mainland China. Thus, flights to Beijing and Shanghai will be suspended until February 29, 2020. Flights to Nanjing, Shenyang and Qingdao will be suspended until March 28, 2020. While flights to Hong Kong will be operated under the operational program.

Lufthansa Group normally offers 54 weekly flights from Germany, Switzerland and Austria to mainland China. The destinations are: Nangjing, Beijing, Shanghai, Shenyang and Qingdao. In addition, Lufthansa, SWISS and Austrian Airlines offer 19 weekly connections to Hong Kong.
