Lufthansa Group has announced the European destinations to which the flights will be resumed starting with June. It's Bucharest too!
Last week, Lufthansa Group announces the plan to resume flights starting in June 2020. Lufthansa, Eurowings and SWISS will start regular commercial operations to 106 destinations in Europe and Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
At the same time, Lufthansa group companies will gradually add holiday destinations, tourism being a priority for many European countries. But also 20 long-haul destinations.
The first flights scheduled for June can be booked starting today, May 14. Gradually, Lufthansa Group companies will increase the number of flights and destinations by the end of June. It is desired to operate up to 1800 weekly flights to 130 destinations.
In the first half of June, Lufthansa resumes flights from Frankfurt to Hanover, Majorca, Sofia, Prague, Billund, Nice, Manchester, Budapest, Dublin, Riga, Krakow, Bucureşti and Kiev. From Munich it will fly to Münster / Osnabrück, Sylt, Rostock, Vienna, Zurich, Brussels and Mallorca.
In the first half of June, the flight schedule also includes 19 long-haul destinations, 14 more than in May. In total, Lufthansa, SWISS and Eurowings will thus offer more than 70 weekly frequencies abroad until mid-June, almost four times more than in May.
Thus, in June Lufthansa Group will operate flights to Toronto, Mexico City, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Tel Aviv, Riyadh, Bahrain, Johannesburg, Dubai and Mumbai. Destinations in Newark / New York, Chicago, Sao Paulo, Tokyo and Bangkok will continue to operate.
