In this context, more and more airlines are announcing the cancellation of flights to destinations in China. Lufthansa Group, represented by Lufthansa, SWISS and Austrian Airlines, has decided to suspend all flights to mainland China..

Passengers with tickets purchased before January 23, who have scheduled flights between January 24 and February 29, have the right to change their schedule to the desired destination or request the money to be refunded. It should be mentioned that the new trip must be scheduled by September 30, 2020.

The affected flights are to destinations in China: Beijing, Shanghai, Shenyang and Qingdao. A total of 54 weekly flights from Germany, Austria and Switzerland will be affected.

It is worth mentioning that all flights from / to Hong Kong remain active under the existing program. Currently, Lufthansa, SWISS and Austrian Airlines operate 19 weekly flights to Hong Kong Autonomous Region.

The new measures were taken for the safety of passengers and crews. After all, I don't think anyone wants to travel to contaminated areas.
