CN Aeroporturi București issued the Order to start the works for the modernization of the parking lots at Henri Coandă International Airport.
The project will modernize both the five public car parks (two related to the Arrivals and Departures and three long-term car parks), the one for coaches, as well as five other car parks for entities operating in the airport perimeter, to which is added the point access to the technical area. The five public parking lots total 1800 spaces.
The main works consist in the development of a DataCenter (operational dispatching office) that integrates all the information regarding the parking lots, the replacement of the barrier systems, the access and payment devices of the parking lot, all the cameras related to the parking entrance / exit flows, respectively the installation of a vehicle license plate recognition system (LPR - License Plate Recognition).
The contract, amounting to 2.862.433 euros, was concluded with the contractor ALTIMATE SA and contains design and execution services, including technical assistance during the execution of the works.
By the end of 2021, it is estimated to complete the modernization of the multi-storey car park (Arrivals), the construction of the new DataCenter (operational dispatching office) and their interconnection, simultaneously with the execution of the branch installation (new network) to the other car parks.
