Sharklet peaks are mounted on the wing ends of A320 aircraft and reduce fuel consumption by up to 4%. At the same time, Airbus A320 aircraft are efficient on short and medium flights, are economical and offer the necessary performance to work at airports at high altitudes.
The new A320 benefits from Required Navigation Performance (RNP) and can accurately fly on predefined flight color via the on-board navigation system. This is extremely useful for operations at high altitude airports such as Kathmandu.
Currently Nepal Airlines operates flights to 4 international destinations and 25 domestic, from the heart of the Himalayas. By acquiring the two aircraft, Nepal Airlines wants to rejuvenate its fleet and open new routes, a long-term development strategy.
