New Lufthansa destinations in Europe, starting with the 2019 summer season

The winter season 2018-2019 has not started well, as Lufthansa is already preparing for the summer season 2019. It announced new routes departing from Munich and Frankfurt.

More and more airlines have presented their plans for the 2019 summer season. These include Lufthansa, which has announced new destinations in Europe.

Specifically, 7 will be new destinations, most of them ideal for summer holidays. Lufthansa flights will link Munich and Frankfurt to destinations in Croatia, France and Montenegro.

Flights Lufthansa from Munich

Starting with 12 April, Lufthansa will fly from Munich to Alicante. The route will be honored 3 or weekly with Airbus A320 aircraft. The new flights to Costa Blanca complement the schedule of flights departing from Frankfurt.

From May 11th, Lufthansa will operate the route Munich - Biarritz, on the southwest coast of France. There will be a weekly flight, every Saturday, with Bombardier CRJ900 aircraft. This holiday destination is recognized among surfers.

From May 11th, Lufthansa will operate the route Munich - Rimini, on the Italian coast of the Adriatic. The flight will be operated every Sunday with Bombardier CRJ900 aircraft. Rimini is recognized for its wide beaches in the Adriatic.

And northern Croatia will be connected by Munich by direct flight. Starting with 25 May, Lufthansa will fly to Rijeka every Saturday, Croatia. The aircraft used will be of the Bombardier type CRH900.

Flights Lufthansa from Frankfurt

New routes from Frankfurt will be to Heraklion, Greece (as of April 11) and Bodrum, Turkey (April 11th). The flights will be operated by Airbus A319 aircraft on Saturday to Heraklion and Sunday to Bodrum.

Also in the 2019 summer season, Lufthansa will operate flights from Frankfurt and Munich to Tivat, Montenegro. Starting with 13 in April, Lufthansa will operate with A319 every Saturday (from Munich) and Sunday (from Frankfurt).
