Did you miss Carpatair? Not much has been heard about this Romanian airline, once operating many flights departing from Timisoara. After the Timisoara scandal, Carpatair exited the Romanian market, restructured the fleet and started a new business segment.

From the vast fleet, Carpatair stopped 2 Fokker 100 (YR-FKA and YR-FKB) with an average age of 23 and started operating charter flights and providing leasing & ACMI services. ACMI Leasing Solutions offers an airline the opportunity to lease an aircraft in the form of Lease In or Lease Out, in the short, medium or long term. Carpatair has also built a long-term relationship with various tour operators, specialists in business tourism, offering services in line with the needs of organizations, corporations and sports institutions.

Recently the verdicts were given in the trials between Carpatair and the airport in Timisoara, and the news is not good for the air operator. The courts award the case to the "Traian Vuia" International Airport in Timisoara, in the disputes with the Carpatair company.

Despite the problems, Carpatair continues to fly, and today the new livery has been unveiled.

As far as it will fly, it remains to be seen, but it has the ambition to resist the market!
