By 20 April 2021, all persons arriving in Denmark who have a valid reason will present a test with a negative result for infection with the SARS-CoV-2 virus (PCR or antigen type), performed no more than 24 hours before boarding the airplane bound for Denmark, or 24 hours before the presentation at the land border or a positive result on a test performed at least 14 days (but not older than 12 weeks) before entering Denmark .

The test result must be in one of the languages English, German, French, Spanish, Italian or Scandinavian. Children under 15 are exempt from this rule.

The measure also applies to Danish citizens and persons with a residence / work permit in Denmark, but they are exempted from the obligation to present a negative test at the land border (at the air border, they are required to take a negative test).

Upon arrival by plane, a rapid test for SARS-CoV-2 virus infection will be performed at the airport (free of charge), and in case of arrival by car, a test will be performed within 24 hours of crossing the border.

All people will enter, MANDATORY, in isolation, for 10 days (even if it shows a negative test). There is a possibility of interruption of the isolation in case of a negative result when performing the PCR test at the earliest after the 4th day of arrival.
