As of Monday, October 11, 2021, Romania was included in the list of states with a very high risk of infection (dark red zone), following the decision of the Czech Ministry of Health, based on data from the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC).

The travel conditions for Romanian citizens traveling from Romania to the Czech Republic do not change, being similar to those applicable to the states on the red list in which Romania was included since September 20.

Thus, all persons arriving in the Czech Republic from Romania are required to complete the electronic arrival form (https://plf.uzis.cz/). Vaccinated people and people who were infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus and were cured within 180 days before the trip have no other obligation to be able to travel on Czech territory. Vaccination and vaccination are proven with the EU COVID Digital Certificate.

Unvaccinated persons have, in addition to completing the location form, the following obligations:

• the obligation to present the negative result of a PCR test not older than 72 hours upon entry into Czech territory;

• the obligation to perform a new PCR test between the 5th and 14th day after arrival in the Czech Republic;

• the obligation to isolate oneself in the period elapsed from entering the Czech territory until receiving the negative result of the second test.
