The carrier is facing strong travel demand and therefore, during the summer season, the American company will operate flights from Rome Fiumicino (FCO) to New York John F. Kennedy (JFK).

On May 9, 2021, at 07.15, the first flight from New York John F. Kennedy (JFK) landed at Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO), more than a year after the suspension of flights between the two countries. Subsequently, the aircraft took off from Rome, at 09.40, local time, bound for New York.

The flights will be operated with Boeing 777-300 aircraft. Also, passengers who will travel on the flight between Rome and New York will be tested Covid, so that when landing in Italy they will not have to self-isolate.

From Rome Fiumicino (FCO), the American airline also flies to Dallas Fort Worth (DFW), offering passengers the opportunity to travel to one of the three classes offered by American Airlines: Flagship Business, Premium Economy and Main Cabin.
