Starting with March 31 2019, the new Blue Air policies are optimized and adapted to the needs of the passengers.
Thus, the hold baggage policy for the Classic tariff family was relaxed. The limit increased from 20 kg to 23 of kg. In this way, passengers will be able to enjoy a more spacious luggage.

Passengers have the opportunity to check in online for free. Depending on the chosen tariff family, the available period during which it can be made differs as follows:
- Light - check-in is open with 3 days before of departure
- Classic - check-in is open with 7 days before of departure
- Premium - check-in is open with 30 days before of departure
The online check-in service is available for most routes. It is advisable to check the list of airports that are exempted from this rule before checking in. The list is available on the Blue Air website.
If the flight chosen is departing from or to one of the airports listed as an exception, passengers can check in at the airport for FREE.
Also, those who purchase Blue Air tickets, have the possibility to add counter-cost and service Priority boarding, which is available on the mobile and tablet versions.
For the moment, this service is available for flights departing from Bucharest (OTP), Cluj-Napoca (CLJ) and Iasi (IAS).
