Today's day started off promising. 2 Boeing 737 Norwegian aircraft operated a technical stop (for refueling) in Bucharest. The ground service was provided by RAS (Romanian Airport Services).
Norwegian in Bucharest
But something else caught my attention. In a Facebook post, RAS made the following statement: Relax, Sasha handles! ? Our wonderful partners from Norwegian! See you soon with regular flights from OTP!? ✈.

I asked a few questions and found some interesting information. According to our sources, Norwegian is interested in starting flights to / from Bucharest. But this is likely to happen in the winter season 2017-2018. There will be flights from Norway, but from another Norwegian base.
Should it be a base in Spain or one in the UK? If we take into account long-haul flights, we rely on Norwegian flights between Bucharest Otopeni and London Gatwick, and from Gatwick base you can fly to Boston, Fort Lauderdale, Los Angeles, New York – JFK, Oakland, Orlando. I hope I don't dream too much! 🙂
We are waiting for the official information!
