Starting with 07.09.2015, the passenger embarkation-transfer operations are transferred to the first completed surface of the new platform of Iasi Airport.

The realization of the new passenger boarding-boarding platform implies, according to the schedule of works, the demolition of the old platform of Iasi Airport. The airport administration chose not to interrupt the air operations and proceeded to the phased realization of the new platform, so that a first surface could be put into operation to take over the processing capabilities. In parallel, work is underway to expand the new infrastructure in the area of the old platform. This transition process will involve changes of flows on passenger access to and from aircraft, which will create a possible discomfort for passengers.

At the same time, it is possible that, in order to comply with the flight schedule of each airline, the closing hours of the check-in procedure may be advanced, so that the extra time required for access to the aircraft does not lead to the flight schedule being delayed. In this regard, it is recommended that passengers schedule their travel to the airport in such a way as to respond to the new transient conditions.
