The other days, Aer Lingus presented the new visual identity. The new livery Aer Lingus is predominantly white, replacing the green on the fuselage. The brand elements are found on the tail and obviously the company name written on the fuselage.

The Irish airline has adopted the EuroWith design, which dominates the European continent. More and more airlines are opting for clean, predominantly white livery.

Livery Aer Lingus on aircraft

The first aircraft painted in the new Ar Lingus livery are: Airbus A330-300 (EI-EDY) and Airbus A320-200 (EI-CVA). The Airbus A330 aircraft in the new livery operated the first flight on September 18, on the route Dublin - New York.

Aeronautical specialists have mentioned that the new Aer Lingus livery is very similar to the other identities of the IAG group: Iberia, LEVEL, Vueling.

The reason why more and more airlines are opting for predominantly white livery is because of costs. A white livery is much easier to maintain and cheaper.

The new Aer Lingus uniform

After 20 years, the new uniforms will be presented. These will be created by Irish designer Louise Kennedy. These will be admired on board aircraft by the end of the 2019 year.

In addition to the new livery, Aer Lingus officials have referred to their expansion plan across the Atlantic. With the receipt of the first Airbus A321LR, Aer Lingus will increase the number of flights between Europe and the East Coast of North America.
