On September 22, an Antonov An-26 military aircraft crashed 38 kilometers from Khabarovsk! The plane disappeared from the radar and crashed in the mountain area Khrebtovaya. It operated a technical flight, and there were six people on board. Their role was to examine ground-based radio support equipment for flights in the region Khabarovsk, Russia.

The crash site was found following a search of a Mil Mi-8 helicopter. More than 140 people and 35 pieces of equipment were involved in the search, rescue and recovery operation. According to emergency services, there are no survivors. According to the emergency services, the regional rescuers and the employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Investigation Committee are at the scene of the accident and gather evidence for the ongoing investigation.
