TAROM announces a summer promotion. In July 2014, TAROM applies reductions of 50 Euro for each round trip ticket and 25 of Euro for one round ticket for journeys made with TAROM own aircraft.
The TAROM offer is available for sale only on the days of Friday and Saturday of July, as follows:

Sale period: 04-05 July 2014
Travel period: July 05 - August 31, 2014 (date of last return)
For destinations Moscow and Stockholm
Sale period: 11 -12 July 2014
Travel period: July 12 - August 31, 2014 (date of last return)
For destinations Rome and Prague
Sale period: 18-19 July 2014
Travel period: July 19 - August 31, 2014 (date of last return)
For destinations Athens and Istanbul
Sale period: 25 -26 July 2014
Travel period: July 26 - August 31, 2014 (date of last return)
It is to be seen how this promotion will be applied and how tempting it will be. If you plan to travel to one of the destinations mentioned above, follow the promotion period as well. Maybe you're lucky enough to save some money. We will come back with simulations, as we used to.
Prices for air tickets vary from hour to hour. It's a whole algorithm that air carriers apply. It takes into account the degree of loading of the aircraft, the period when it flies, the period when the plane ticket is purchased, etc.
I did some simulations before the promotional period:
Bucharest - Moscow from 142 EUR - travel period July 18-23.
Bucharest - Istanbul from 124 EUR - travel period 3-5 August.
Bucharest - London from 275 EUR - travel period August 1-9.
We will come back with details from the promotional period.
Tickets can be purchased from the website www.tarom.ro, from their own agencies or from TAROM authorized agents, with the reduction already applied.
