The National Committee for Emergency Situations adopts Decision no. 47 of 05.10.2020 on the approval of the list of countries / areas of epidemiological risk for which the quarantine measure is instituted on persons arriving in Romania from them and the establishment of measures in the field of public health.

Art. 1 (1) The list of countries / areas of high epidemiological risk for which the quarantine measure is established on the persons arriving in Romania from them is approved, in force starting with 07.10.2020, provided in the annex.

As you can see, more and more European countries have entered Romania's yellow list: Andorra, Montenegro, Spain, Czech Republic, Moldova, France, Netherlands, Gibraltar, Belgium, Armenia, Great Britain, Iceland, Luxembourg, Denmark, Hungary, Slovakia, Ukraine, Austria and Georgia.

2 (2) It is exempted from the measure provided in par. (1), persons arriving in Romania from countries / areas of high epidemiological risk, if they remain on the national territory for a period of less than 3 days (72 hours) and present a negative test for SARSCoV-2, performed at most 48 hours before entering the national territory.

(3) The persons arriving in Romania from the countries / areas of high epidemiological risk provided in par. (1) and quarantined for a period of 14 days, may be released from quarantine after the 10th day if they perform a SARS-CoV-2 test on the 8th day of quarantine, and its result is negative and does not show specific symptoms.
