Wizz Air announced that, due to travel restrictions imposed by the Romanian authorities, suspends all routes between Romania and Sweden, Portugal, Israel and the United Arab Emirates until July 31 inclusive.

At the same time, due to the restrictions introduced by the Austrian authorities, flights between Romania and Austria are suspended until the same date.

Wizz Air has suspended flights from:

Bucureşti to Lisbon, Stockholm, Malmo, Tel Aviv and Abu Dhabi;
Cluj to Malmo and Tel Aviv;
Iaşi to Tel Aviv;

Passengers with reservations affected by the flight suspension will be automatically notified by email if they have booked directly on wizzair.com or through the mobile application. Customers will automatically receive in the WIZZ client account 120% of the amount paid for the trip, an amount that can be used over the next 24 months to purchase Wizz Air products and services.

Passengers can choose to refund the money - which will take longer - and you will be informed about the steps required for a bank transfer or transfer to a bank card via a separate email. In this case, customers will be able to receive only 100% of the amount initially paid. Passengers who have made their reservations through travel agencies - including online travel agencies - should contact the agency where they purchased their tickets.

Wizz Air apologizes for any inconvenience these travel restrictions may cause to customers and assures them that the safety and well-being of passengers and crew remain the company's top priorities.
