On 30 January 2015, Boeing (NYSE: BA) delivered the first Next-Generation aircraft Boeing 737-900ER (Extended Range) to Okay Airways, China's airline.

You are probably wondering what is so special. This delivery marks a debut. This is the first plane Boeing 737-900ER delivered to China and the first to Okay Airways (the first private airline in China). The aircraft has a capacity of transporting 200 of seats, in a single configuration. Being an NG aircraft, it benefits from the innovations of the Boeing Sky interior: larger windows, larger luggage spaces, LED lighting.

This Boeing 737-900ER joins the 13 Boeing 737-800 aircraft existing in the Okay fleet and will be followed by other 7 737-900ER units.

As mentioned above, Okay Airways is the first private airline in China. It is based at Tianjin Binhai International Airport and operates flights to 16 domestic destinations. Maybe with the new aircraft, the airline will expand its operational map beyond China.
