Osaka and Perth, the first destinations for Boeing 787-10 Singapore Airlines

This month, Singapore Airlines will receive the first Boeing 787-10 in aviation history, being the launch customer for this model. Commercial flights will launch on 3 April.

By the end of this month, the first Boeing 787-10 Singapore Airlines would be delivered. SIA is the launch customer for this model, receiving the first 787-10 Dreamliner aircraft in the world.


Singapore Airlines has orders placed for the 49 787-10 Dreamliner aircraft. These will be configured in 2 classes and will be able to carry up to 337 passengers: 36 seats in Business Class and 301 seats in Economy Class.

The first commercial flights will be operated from April 3. Initially, Singapore Airlines will fly to Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur for crew training.


From 3 to May 2018, Singapore Airlines plans to introduce Boeing 787-10 on Singapore-Osaka route. For starters, one of the 2 daily flights on this route will be operated. Also from May, Singapore Airlines will fly with Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner in Perth.

Boeing 787-10 is the largest aircraft in the Dreamliner family. It is 68 meters long and can carry up to MAXIM 440 passengers in one class. It has flight autonomy of 11908 kilometers. He collected orders for 221 units, and SIA will be the launch customer.
