Over 230 passengers were affected by Blue Air's canceled flights between September 000 and October 6!

Blue Air recoveryor the resumption of passenger air transport operations, implies close collaboration and support from all trading partners, But and of all public institutions and authorities in Romania, efforts submitted by the executive management, the Board of Directors and the company's shareholders, being insufficient in the absence of such collaboration.

Blue Air expresses its permanent availability a the executive management of the company, to transmit all necessary information and information, and to participate to absolutely any necessary discussion with the decision makers from the public institutions and authorities that can help the recovery of the company, in a unitary and organized manner.

We specify the fact that until this moment, behind the discussions held by the executive management of Blue Air, we can confirm support received from most airports abroad, including airports in Italy, Israel, Spain, Great Britain, as well as of fuel suppliers in these airports, to be able to resume the provision of services to Blue Air, under the condition of advance payment of the services offered and we count on the same support from the airports in Romania, Bacău, Cluj-Napoca, Bucharest-Otopeni and Iași.

Concidering suspension of air passenger transport activity from the period 6 September - 9 October 2022, we inform you that the total number of affected passengers of flight cancellations during this period is of approximately 230.000, representing approximately 77.000 travel ticket bookings.

Reimbursement of all amounts owed to passengers for purchased tickets is essentially dependent on the resumption of operations and sales activity of Blue Air, and, as I have stated in previous communications, another essential factor is the cash contribution brought by one of the two investors with whom we are in discussions.

All passengers were notified of flight cancellations and they got 3 options available: rescheduling the trip on the next available flight, refund in the e-wallet (Blue Air offering a bonus of 25% of the value of the purchased ticket as compensation for the inconvenience caused to our passengers) or refund of purchased tickets.

In the last days they were created over 17.500 electronic wallets, totaling 1.900.000 EUR, and passengers who chose this option will be able to use the amounts to purchase tickets as soon as we activate the sales process. 

As soon as possible we will return with details about the way in which the activity of air passenger transport by Blue Air will be resumed, dependingție șand the results recorded in negotiations with investors, but also the willingness of the authorities to support us in this difficult process.
