Passenger air traffic at Romanian airports between January 1 and September 30! Tulcea, the airport with the fewest passengers!

The Romanian Airports Association presented the figures after three quarters of 2022. According to official figures, over 15.5 million passengers transited airports in Romania between January 1 and September 30, 2022.

Henri Coandă Bucharest International Airport is rapidly approaching the threshold of 10 million passengers, with 1 passengers reported between January 30 and September 9.354.515.

In second place is Avram Iancu International Airport from Cluj with 1.980.438 passengers, and the podium is completed by Iași International Airport with 1.193.400 passengers. As can be seen, Timișoara airport lost the podium, with 898.304 passengers reported.

At the opposite pole we have Tulcea airport with 342 passengers, Aurel Vlaicu Baneasa International Airport with 7118 passengers and Arad airport with 16428 passengers.
