The distance from Perth to London is 14 498 km, making it the longest 2 flight in the world. The flights will be honored with Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.

The London - Perth flight will be the longest on the Qantas network, followed by Sydney-Dallas (13km and flying an Airbus A730). It will be the longest flight operated by a Boeing Dreamliner in the world.

From 25 to March 2018, new economic boundaries will open and new travel opportunities will be opened between Europe (via London) and Australia (via Perth).
